My clinical experience and training has been with adults, couples, adolescents, children, and families.  I have worked in a variety of settings including community clinics, public schools, a university, and private practice.  I've given presentations on anxiety, stress reduction, and relaxation.  A former teacher of yoga, I work with my clients to find tranquility in their lives, often applying basic yogic principles of relaxation and breathing to sessions to assist clients  in decreasing anxiety.

My clinical practice focuses on work with couples, yet I also work intensely with individual adults.

I have received extensive post graduate training in couples therapy, including an externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy with Sue Johnson.  I stay current on advances in the field of couples therapy by regularly attending professional conferences, and consulting with colleagues on treatment approaches.

I received my Master of Science Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fullerton.  I am a registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (#50170).

I am a prelicensed member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and a Board Member and Intern Representative for the Orange County Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (OC CAMFT).  I am also an associate member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
