Are you longing to feel close to your partner?
You are not alone. Many couples struggle with communication, especially during these chaotic holiday months. But sometimes, communication gets so difficult, even the slightest comment can spark a fight. Or maybe you don't really communicate at all any more, simply avoiding fights, living like roommates, but not really connecting.
I'd like to help you now, before things get any worse.
Your relationship can be improved. Starting couples therapy may seem scary, as admitting your relationship is troubled is hard to do. Deciding to work on your relationship does not mean you will be in therapy forever, nor does it mean your relationship is doomed for failure. Couples therapy is a sign of your commitment to your relationship, with you and your partner declaring that your relationship is important and worth the time and effort.
You won't be blamed or criticized in my office. Who would want to go through that? My process is different, one of collaboration, understanding, and respect. We will work to understand what is going wrong in your relationship, and in a relatively brief period of time, start making changes!
I use an approach called Emotionally Focused Therapy, find out more about it on my FAQ page or click here.
If you'd like to end the same old argument, and return to a relationship of love, call me at (949) 547-9268. I look forward to hearing from you!
Daytime, Evening, and Weekend Appointments Available.
